SugaBeat Bio:
"SugaBeat" are a 4 piece, female fronted Funk/Pop/Rock group, based in Leicester.
After meeting three years ago, Sarah Bird (Vocals) and Benn Hartmann (Guitar) began writing together. Combing both of their musical influences, from Stevie Wonder to Red Hot Chili Peppers, they created Sugabeat.
Many live shows (and a few different band mates here and there), Sugabeat have only gotten stronger. Their mix of pop, rock and funk have cemented them as one of Leicester's most exciting and energetic live bands.
De Montfort University's newspaper The Demon, described Sugabeat as "a band not to be undermined [with] a strong on stage presence [which] loaded the air with a lively dose of pop with lead singer's effortless voice piercing the atmosphere. To say that her voice is incredible would be an understatement."
Now touring their EP, NYC, Sugabeat will have you dancing at home, in the car and in bars across the country.
