Skadigan

Skadigan Bio:

Skadigan formed in the summer of 2005, and have regularly gigged in Warwickshire and the surrounding region ever since! Skadigan’s mission is to get you skanking and to keep it on the offbeat by blowing your mind with crazy ska punk/ska funk/mexican ska/cossack ska style songs about love, daytime TV and Myspace.

So far Skadigan have played with Fandangle, Cueball 8, Weeble, Roddy Radiation’s Skabilly Rebels and the Dr. Teeth Big Band among others, and have recorded with ska legend Horace Panter from the Specials.

But what about the name?
Well... Kat and Kate went to see ’The Selecter’, at which Nick Welsh (bassist) told them "Hey, I like your cardigan... heheh, SKAdigan!". Nick gave them the blessing of The Selecter, and so it was.
