Biography

Sami de Valera is a 21 year old rapper/producer/song writer from Nottingham, UK. He started rapping at the Russell Youth Club, St Anns, Nottingham where local rappers would come along and ryhme, put on shows and kill it. Big Trev (Out Da Ville/ Inna Nuttin Crew) then invited Sami to his recording studio (next door) where he got to rap with Notts legends such as Lee Ramsay, C-Mone & Scor-zay-zee as well as with other young rappers such as Dougie Howza & Sinead, not only did it give Sami a chance to elevate his talents it also gave him a chance to learn about sound engineering and the business side of music.

In 2004 Sami began to diversify from just rapping, he set up independent lable Badman Entertainment and began producing tracks for artists such as Javellie, J Platinum, Tyleon & Sami (singer).

In 2005 Sami then moved to Cyprus (Pafos) to be closer to his family, and through this he developed a more laid back flow which helped him develop catchy chorus' and more laid back fun music in general.

2006 is Sami de Valera! The new album Pay Back is available from the store, there will be a video for the 1st single Luv Dat' and a European tour in the spring. Other planned singles with accompanying videos will be Wat Ya Wanna Do, 'Wifey feat Javellie' Oi Oi Oi & Problems feat Sami. Each single will be available on mp3 and CD (CD singles include bonus unreleased tracks).
