Nicole Dolison Bio:
Nicole Marie Dolison, born on a wednesday, June 23, 1976 in Mt. Holly, New Jersey. As a youngster growing up in N.J., young, shy, and ambitious, this girl loves to entertain people as a young child. Although Nicole is an adopted child. Raised by Claude, and Edith Dolison. Nicole's birth mother was an half black, and half indian female at the young age of 13, and her birth father was an half black, and half dominican male at the age of 16 years old. Nicole was just 6 months old weighiing at just 9lbs when she was adopted. Dolison always wanted to become a singer as a youngster. She started singing at the tender age of 3 and had an 8 octave range vocals. Young, and shy, but she didn't care, but she always wanted to perform.At age 8, she started singing with an R&B group at her Uncle Allen's house in Scotch Plains, N.J., and singing Tina Turner's "What's Love Got To Do With It", and Madonna's "Boarderline". Nicole's most favorite artist is Karen Carpenter who died back in 1983 from Anorexia. Dolison's favorite songs out of Karen Carpenter was "Close To You" , and "We've Only Just Begun" Dolison became a recording artist just right when she became a lead singer of the classic pop group, "STEAM" which did a remarkable hit back in 1969's "Kiss Him Goodbye"(Na,Na,Na,Na..Hey, Hey, Hey..Goodbye).Dollson's outstanding pipes, and her 5 octave range vocals gave "STEAM" alot of credit, but Nicole is also a solo recording artist. She started writing her own songs at the age of 10, and learning how to write her own music at age 11. Dolison's first song she wrote was "I Want You By My Side", and "True Love". But as a youngster living in Palm Coast, Florida, she didn't want older minors to listen to her music until she was 18. In 1995, after graduating from high school, Nicole wrote some of her best songs like "Heaven" "I love You", and "In The City Of Passion". Nicole is now a singer, songwriter, co-producer, and a recording artist as she always wanted. Dolison is now non-stop for enterainment, but this artist will make it happen. She will never give up her dream, and will always be a star on stage like she did when she was a little girl. Now in her 30's, she's now working with the band, STEAM, and writing more new songs including her next original, "Justin Whalin", and remake of her 1993 song that she wrote back then "I Love You". She always been a laid back funk, and R&B artist in a Pop/R&B group, but outside of it, she's more Funk/R&B/Dance. Back in the fall of 1994, Dolison wanted to write a song about her famous favorite young actor, Justin Whalin, but the song she written, she wanted to save it. She kept it in memory, and now she will be working on the song for 2009 as a remake of the song "Justin Whalin". Dolison wa always a huge fan of Justin Whalin, she even more happier to do the song. 2009 will be Nicole's big year, and she wants to make her parents proud, and Justin Whalin proud. Nicole does the very best she can, and she will kick **** better than you ever thought of. Nicole Dolison is now one of the new recording artists for the late 2000s
