ABOUT OPEN ROAD. The age old story of a man's urge to ditch all his responsibilities in one selfishly adolescent escape fantasy. He's read too much Kerouac, and has just been told one time too many. Snap. Like Jack White with Spector (and his pistol) at the helm in a very deep well.

ABOUT THE BAND
With a fondness for vintage valve amps, analogue delays and organic sounds, Mlini create songs with the raw and ragged edges of Low and Neil Young, quirkiness of Pavement and the fine production of Sparklehorse.

Influences: Neil Young / Scott Walker / Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds / Wilco/ Radiohead / Low / Grandaddy / Sparklehorse / Arcade Fire / Pixies / The Black Keys.

Mlini are: Tim Despic, Steve Carter and Ben Hamster (South London).
