Miki Parkinson Bio:
I spent half my early life in London, England, half in Vancouver, Canada. In England I learned to love music and when I returned to Vancouver in 1980 I started playing guitar. At first in various punk or alternative bands like Immoral Majority, The Subterraneans, and Dirt. I began to develop an interest in electronic and new age music while at university. After university I began working in studios and learning the art of recording. Eventually I ran my own studio for a while and wrote and recorded my first album “Upgrade”. I then wrote "Tech Rock" which was the start of my own sound. Since then I have continued to develop my style into something truly original and new, shown in my new album “I Want A Million Dollars”. |
