Guy Partin Bio:
I was raised by musician parents and performed in their band from 14 until I graduated Upper Darby high school right out side of Philadelphia. I have performed many kinds of music and am grateful to my Mom and Dad for exposing me to so many great bands and artists growing up. My writing is a reflection of so many influences that I think my own sound evolved from them. I have performed up and down the eastern seaboard, playing full time for almost 15 years before moving to Central Pa to settle down a bit.. A couple bands I recently performed in around the Central PA area are MidLife Krisis and GrayWolf, as well as fill in spots for Eugene Marks Band (good luck Mark jr.) and Turning Point. I am at present a solo artist, but am slowly auditioning musicians for a new project I hope to launch in the fall. Although we will be playing cover material, my originals will be in regular rotation with a new studio date booked in early 2010 at Right Coast studios in Lemoyne, PA. |
