About FANOE
everything seemed meaningless but there was a motivation creating my own music as a way of expression. not knowing where this will end I started my own show in 2003. after 2 years creating and destroying sounds it all begun to become real and authentic. while practicing and composing, the music became what it is now - electronica rock'n'roll -.

FANOE builds own soundscapes by mixing dirty rock riffs with electronic elements. Classic songwriting, abstract rhythms and vocals which are sometimes energetic and screaming and sometimes more whispering and eager. This moods together build an own dynamic and style. Concerning Style and Genre FANOE is often compared with bands such as Marilyn Manson or Nine Inch Nails. This is maybe because there are not that many bands sounding like this. Is this negative or positive? The mix of the different influences like david bowie, kyuss, tool, sold or also nin makes the music of FANOE stand of its own.

Album/LP empire dirt
The album contains 14 Songs and will be released end of july 2005. The record empire dirt has been recorded by Klaus fanoe the last two years and has now been mixed and mastered by legendary rainer rütimann at klangfaktur studios Switzerland. Depending of the mood and situations in this two years Klaus fanoe wrote songs with different flavours and moods. Sometimes the songs are more aggressive and sometimes the songs are more ironic or melancholic. This is what makes the album interesting and special for any listener. Thats also the reason it can not be categorized so easily in genre like goth rock, industrial or alternative rock. All the instruments such as bass, drums, guitars, synths and also the vocals were recorded by Klaus fanoe him self.

Why is FANOE not signed by a label? Klaus fanoe sais: I am not going to give away any rights for my babies (songs) until a perfect deal is offered!. So like while recording the album there will also be no compromises concerning the distribution or any licences.
