David DiMuzio Bio:
With a consuming love of performing David DiMuzio began paying his dues performing at festivals and special events around the Southeast United States when he was only twelve years old. It wasn’t long though before David’s unique brand of juggling, original music, comedy, and acrobatics caught on, and suddenly he was performing in colleges (Davidson College, University of Central Florida, University of North Carolina Greensboro), comedy clubs (Comedy Zone, Zanies), and theaters across the nation, as well as for corporate clients such as Microsoft, Cisco Systems, Clear Channel, and Viacom. During this time because of David’s world class juggling skills he was asked to perform at many United States Tennis Association half time events for Davis Cup and Fed Cup tournaments as well as NBA halftimes for the Bulls, Raptors, Hornets, and Knicks. In 2001 David won the “International Jugglers Association, World Championships” beating out contestants from around the globe to hold the most coveted trophy in the juggling world. At the age of only eighteen years old with David’s new title of World Champion juggler as well as six years of professional performing experience, David landed a job as the youngest “Headline Entertainer” in the history of Disney, Royal Caribbean, and Princess Cruise Lines. Over the past five years David’s polished act highlighted by his personable and charismatic stage presence has taken him to over fifty different countries, and throughout five different continents, upon the premier stages of the world (Atlantis Theater, Walt Disney Theater, Whiskey Pete’s, Stardust Theater, etc…). In the spring of 2007 music producer Brad Hill from Los Angeles, CA heard a demo of David’s song “Some Of That Wave”. Impressed by David’s Bon Jovi Guitar meets Billy Joel Lyric style of songwriting, Brad invited David to start recording with him in his Nashville, TN studios. Instantly Brad and David realized they had found in each other the perfect musical production match. Recording fifteen songs throughout the year they picked the best of the best eleven songs for an album of what has been described as “The thinking man’s power pop” entitled “Not Alone”. David’s use of the recordings from his album in his live theater show has heightened anticipation from his fans throughout popular media sites like myspace and facebook for the CD’s upcoming release. “Shure Microphones” and “Guitar Center” two of the largest musical equipment suppliers in the world have both endorsed David’s tour and album as a “completely independent” artist...one of the first times that either company has ever done so. Now juggling to all of his own original music in a Cirque Du Soleil meets Bon Jovi style rock concert “The Power Pop Juggling of David DiMuzio” is the only show of it’s kind in the world. “Not Alone” is being independently released through “DiMuzico Publishing” and “DiMuzio Brothers Entertainment” April 2008. |
