Anthony W. Cobb Bio:
I do not see my self as a performer all that much, I am more into the writing and creating of music. I have played in several bands in the past and I enjoyed the "playing out part" but no one wanted to do original material and I did. I started recording on my own a few years back with the help of a close friend. I put out a CD entitled An Eyeful Of words, it got considerable play on collage radio. I then went back to the studio and with my friends help I recorded my next CD Beneath A Wounded Sky, which I more or less sat on until last year. My latest CD is titled All Lights On The Myth, it is a departure from my earlier stuff without anyone else's assistance. I wanted to release it back in early March but I had to weight for my copyright confirmation.
The songs I write are not about me, they are about the things I have seen and come to understand. I believe in the power of music and regardless of your taste that power stays the same. Music is our common ground, if it is Hip-Hop or country it makes no difference, it is our love of music that unites us, it may be the only thing that truly does.
