Alex Stangl Bio:
Long story short - if that is at all possible. Crisis after crisis. Drama after drama. No let up for almost 5 years.
And the sonic dream re-entered the plotline and once again I found myself on the creative end of a songwriting brush, which I had been convinced would never return, having left me some time ago in a place I would rather not remember.
Guitars tuned, with the cloud of a lost loved one whispering constantly over my shoulder, I laid down the first experimental track, Now That You're Gone in late August and never looked back, as they say, except in looking back constantly on love and opportunity lost in this past chapter, which I had barely escaped intact. And it's not over yet. There is no safe harbour in this novel. Occasionally, though, the waves do die down a bit...
So what you have here now is a CD collection of some the best and worst of my musical travels. A lot was asked and I gave the best I had to give.
Singing is tentative - the guitar playing even more so - but you weren't expecting anything more or less from a troubled mess, were you?
